Welcome to the all new Thompson/Livingston Baby Blog! For those of you who are just now realizing that we’re married, surprise! We’re about to welcome our second child into the world in early January and couldn’t be more excited. While we’re gone from the station on maternity/paternity leave, we hope to keep you updated on our lives with all the trials and tribulations that go along with parenthood. I was wondering, after the new Thompson baby is born, will he or she ever make a “guest apperance” during the news cast ? Also curious as to any names picked out? Congratulations!! I didn’t even know you guys were married until just recently. Good Luck you 2 ! Enjoy your the soon to be newest member to the family. I have 2 boys of my own. I just came to the wkbt sight to check the weather and seen your blog link. Since the kids and I watch you every morning and have grown to just adore you. Your upbeat smile and laughter in the morning giving people a nice start to their day, meanwhile you have been going through such a heart tearing ordeal.
I can never know what it was like for you and your family but, I have 4 children. Now they are 16,17,18 and 4 and I could never imagine not having them with me. I am so sorry you had to go through it but i am so happy for your first blessing she is beautiful and for your blessing arriving soon.

I can relate to your years of trying to get pregnant but when it all works out it is well worth it.
We were blessed with a girl and a boy.
So do you know if your having a girl or a boy?
Do you have any names picked out?
Enjoy your maternity leave and the naps of course if you can sneek them in! LOL

I remember well the pain and effort of trying to get pregnant with my 2nd child. Also the envy and loss as others had more children they weren’t really wanting. It took 7 yrs and finally had a boy and a girl. After that I was happy with one of each but tried for another. Another 7 years had another girl. 7 year itch or something. Now with 7 grandchildren growing up way too fast reading your story brought back all that so vividly. I know you will treasure you new baby and God bless your family in 2009. You are in my prayers.

Congratulations to you both. You are always so upbeat Jennifer it is a pleasure to watch and listen to your cheerfulness that early in the morning, you will be missed but I know both of you will be enjoying your newest arrival - even with the dirty diapers and little sleep!! We all have our hardships in life. Jen….can’t imagine the heartbreak you’ve endured over the years. But, with the bad, comes GOOD, and your story certainly proves that!

We have a 28 month old and have been trying for almost 1 year. What did the doctor have you try at that point? I go back to the doctor in March and I am wondering what my options may be. Good luck with your new one and enjoy the time with both of your children.

Congrats to you! I so enjoy you, Jennifer on in the morning, and Mike in the evening. I really enjoy your different news stories. I never knew the pain you were going through. I am a grandma to 4 now, and grandbaby #5 due in May.

Mike you look better with the scruffy look! The clean shaven gives you a baby face haha… But good luck with the new born. I watch the morning show every day and I dont think my tv leaves WKBT like ever!!! Congrats!

I to experienced two miscarriages between my first & second child. I was very frustrated and seeked medical help. I finally
decided to give up and that is when I got pregnant again. Four & half years later our second daughter was born and then 13-1/2 months after that our 3rd & last child was born. So we have 2 daughters & a son. My son just graduated from high school this past spring. I love watching Jen & Bill in the morning and Mike at night. My TV is always turned to WKBT. Best wishes to both of you and I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless.

Thank you for sharing your story with us - I will miss you in the morning. I always LOVE seeing and hearing you. You are such of an inspiration to many. Your happy and upbeat personality is catching and such of a great way to start the day.
I do think Bill gives you some hard Weather Quiz questions - how about turning the tables and seeing how good Bill is at answering Quiz questions from you? HA!
Katelin is adorable, she will be a big help to Mom and Dad.
